Welcome to privo.chat. Please read this End-User License Agreement ("EULA") carefully before using the application. By tapping "Agree and Continue", you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this Agreement in full.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any features of privo.chat, you explicitly agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use this application and must exit immediately. Your continued use signifies your full acceptance.
2. Zero-Tolerance Policy
privo.chat maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users. We are committed to fostering a community free from harm, harassment, and illegal activities. Any violation of this policy will lead to immediate investigation and may result in actions such as revoking account access and, if necessary.
2.1. Definitions of Objectionable Content
"Objectionable Content" includes, but is not limited to:
- Hate Speech: Content that promotes or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
- Explicit Content: Any sexually explicit, suggestive, or pornographic material.
- Violent Threats: Direct or indirect threats of violence towards any individual, group, or property.
- Illegal Activity: Content that promotes, encourages, or facilitates illegal activities, such as drug use, illicit trade, or terrorism.
- Discrimination: Content that promotes discrimination based on any protected characteristic.
- Graphic Content: Excessive depictions of violence, gore, or disturbing imagery.
- Spam/Malware: Unsolicited advertisements, junk mail, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any content containing viruses, corrupted data, or other harmful components.
2.2. Definitions of Abusive Behavior
"Abusive Behavior" includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment & Bullying: Repeated or systematic behavior that is offensive, intimidating, or threatening to another user, including cyberbullying.
- Threats & Intimidation: Any communication that instills fear or implies harm.
- Trolling: Deliberate acts to provoke or upset others.
- Impersonation: Falsely representing oneself as another person or entity.
- Privacy Violations: Attempting to obtain or share private information about other users without their consent.
- Disruptive Conduct: Any actions that interfere with other users' peaceful enjoyment of the platform or disrupt the normal flow of conversation.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all content, messages, and interactions you generate or share on privo.chat. You must always respect the rights and privacy of other users and comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You are liable for any content you post or share that violates this EULA. Users are encouraged to be proactive in reporting any instances of objectionable content or abusive behavior they encounter. While reporting is not mandatory, failure to report in certain situations may impact our ability to respond effectively.
4. Enforcement and Consequences
Any violation of these terms related to objectionable content or abusive behavior will lead to an immediate and thorough investigation by our moderation team. privo.chat reserves the right to take prompt and appropriate enforcement actions, which include, but are not limited to:
- Warning Notices: A formal notification of a policy violation.
- Content Removal: Immediate deletion of violating content.
- Temporary Suspension: Restriction of account access for a specified period.
- Permanent Account Ban: Irreversible termination of your account and prohibition from future use of the application.
- Legal Reporting: Reporting severe violations to relevant law enforcement authorities when required by law or deemed necessary for public safety.
We utilize a combination of automated detection systems and human moderators to identify and act upon policy breaches. All enforcement actions are taken at our sole discretion.
5. Reporting Mechanism for Violations
privo.chat is committed to acting quickly on reports of abuse. If you encounter any content or behavior that violates this EULA, especially our zero-tolerance policy, please use the in-app reporting feature.
- How to Report: Look for a "Report" button or similar icon associated with messages, profiles, or content within the application.
- Process: Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots or specific message timestamps, to aid our investigation.
- Confidentiality: All reports will be handled confidentially, and your identity as the reporter will be protected.
- Action: We will investigate all valid reports promptly and take appropriate action as outlined in Section 4.
6. Data Privacy
By using privo.chat, you agree to our data collection, usage, and storage practices as detailed in our Privacy Policy. We are committed to complying with all applicable global data privacy laws, including but not limited to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act). 7. Updates to the EULA
privo.chat may modify or update this EULA from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes, and your continued use of the application after such notification will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms. In cases of substantial updates, you may be required to explicitly reaffirm your agreement before continuing to use the app.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
For any paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases offered by privo.chat, you agree to pay all applicable charges and taxes. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly required by law.
